This is also a resource virtually unknown to many travelers. You can stay in homes or condos throughout the world that range in price from that of a hotel room to a sumptuous suite. The savings are, of course, greatest when you are a group looking for multiple beds which can then bring the price per person far below what you might pay for a single room in a hotel.

Don't forget, though, the extra amenities that these homes or condos may offer: a pool and/or lanai to relax on and perhaps grill and dine on, much more space to spread out in than most cramped urban hotel rooms and a kitchen to prepare as many meals as you wish to save your dollars for splurging on souvenirs or tours.
